Bet you didn’t know we have a former women’s fashion footwear designer on here!
Fact. Earlier in his career, Fermin designed and marker-comped shoe designs for the likes of Marc Jacobs. Although his concepts are no longer displayed on a catwalk or in stores, he’s still passionate about fashion and high-end women’s footwear and wants to some day make his own line of footwear into fruition.
Fluent in Castilian Spanish, he likens his energy and unconventional problem-solving skills to MacGyver. He’s a workhorse who loves his job, and maintains a relaxed perspective of “if they are happy, I’m happy.”
I have extensive experience in managing and developing a diverse range of projects from conceptual development to finished product. My background includes work for both small and large companies, as well as both print and web-based media. I have worked on a variety of projects including brand identity creation, website design, print advertising, book cover art, app/user interface design, product packaging and labeling, flyers, brochures, catalogs, posters and billboards.
I pride myself on my ability to translate ideas into visual concepts that are appealing and effective. This allows me to create designs that not only meet client expectations but surpass them.
Another strength is my ability to work effectively with other creative professionals such as photographers, illustrators, copywriters, printers, marketers and managers. I understand the importance of being respectful of everyone’s role in the creative process while maintaining a positive attitude that fosters creativity.
